This is a classic Italian trattoria or cantina - family run as if straight transported from a smaller town (like Burton) from the Italian countryside. Fab & love it!! Marianna is an amazing hostess! And…. The more expensive Primitivo wine is a gem! For afters we had an ‘amaro Montenegro’ - a perfect end to a lovely evening. Will come here again, and not just because it is great value for money. Loving the people running this place!

I don't really like 'Italian dishes' bit I really liked this restaurant. Dishes were cooked to perfection. Beer was cold- great! Large tables, so we were not elbowing each other. Staff were efficient, clean, jolly and very helpful. I would recommend eating here.

Looks like recently the old owners sold up and new owners have moved in. Service was poor and a bit hap hazard. Pizzas were okay but the base was too thick and doughy. Deserts again were OK but nothing to shout about. The decor is proper Italian which looks spot on. It's just a shame the food doesn't live up to it. It's OK but I wouldn't go back.

Amazing food at realistic prices. So much better than that nasty 'Italian' chain in swad. We were so impressed we've booked up again while we were still there. Top full 5 stars from me without hesitation.
