Beautiful place to eat. Food was amazing! One slightly bad point, it too quite a lo g time for them to clear after eating and we had to find someone to ask for the bill. But other than that it is a really lovely place

Came for lunch with family. Haven't been here for over 10 years. Under new management, decór is nice and intimate. Was served by Michelle who was very friendly. Service was great. Food was lovely and enjoyed the vibe and mocktails. Would visit again.

We had our family meal here this evening and everything was absolutely seamless. From the attention to detail before we’d even arrived to handling the booking so thoughtfully and accommodating every request to the service throughout the evening, everything felt so special. It had such a lovely family touch, combined with the finest attention to detail you’d expect from a high end restaurant. Everyone went above and beyond to make every moment memorable from entertaining the kids, to playing my mum’s favourite songs, and even making sure she had her favourite drinks. Thank you for truly making this evening so memorable. We always love our regular visits, but tonight felt especially special ❤️ xxx

I've been coming here for years but first time since management changed hands recently. Loving some of the new menu choices! For lunch, I chose the chicken breast with wild mushrooms, sweet potato puree, spinach, madeira jus & truffle oil. Godammit, the smell and taste of this dish was insane. If you love chicken and truffle oil, you'll love this dish. Perfect combination.

The food I had was very nice but I felt the price of £23 for an onion tart tatin and broccoli was steep. I have an allergy to mash potatoes and asked for extra veg instead of potatoes, I said I don’t mind what veg but wa surprised to be told you have been given extra broccoli. My fault possibly for saying I don’t mind what bit expected something a bit better than extra broccoli. The tart however was beautiful. The cheesecake again delicious but again at over £8 a bit pricey. The service was friendly and the place is nicely decorated. The 3 stars is really for the lack of vegetarian food, one main choice that was all. I asked if there was more vegetarian choices and told just what is on the menu u. Not what I expect in 2026. For this reason I would not visit for dinner again as eating the same thing every time I go out is a little boring.
