Delicious what an incredible afternoon experience. Me and my grandma went just for a look and if I had to describe the food in one word it would be impossible the soup I had to start was served with noticeably fresh baked bread cooked to perfection. The soup itself was rich in tomato flavour and silky in texture. The picture I have added above is that of the beef and vegetables. The Yorkshire pud was noticeably better than any Yorkshire puddings I've had EVER.and the beef was so soft it melted in my mouth like butter.the gravy however I didn't like as much ( hence the 4 stars on food) but it was still nice it had a hint of something sweet but the rich at the same time. The vegetables were cooked beautifully and the roast spuds were delicious. The deserts vary but I would recommend he biscoff cheesecake( a delicious option in my opinion) and the bread and butter pudding ( just one I remember my mum making when I was younger and brings back nostalgia). Overall one of the best spots in Burton if I do say so myself
First time visiting 99 Station Street Restaurant & enjoyed a splendid 3 course meal. Delicious real food, quality ingredients & lovingly made from scratch. Recommended.
We have visited here a few times for evening service and had pleasant experiences on all occasions. The food is very presentable and although some of the flavour pairings weren't to our tastes on a few of the dishes; the individual components were well prepared but didn't mesh well as a complete dish. The service was very friendly and welcoming but the decor looks a little tired and would benefit from a refurb.
Fantastic food, friendly atmosphere and wonderful service. We tried on a whim tonight and we will 100% be back. What a gem to have on the doorstep!
Visited on the 24th July 21 Had a lovely meal mackerel starter and rarebit on sour dough bread. The short rib cooked in bourbon was to die for it melted in your mouth no room for dessert. Staff professional and informative.
