Best Indian restaurant around! We come in from long eaton and is well worth the drive! The food is lush, it's delicious and authentic and you can ask for the Spice levels to be adjusted without a problem. the staff are friendly, they accommodate young children very well, and you can take your own drinks or go across the road and bring them in from the pub! :) They have the options to have a 4 course meal with poppadoms and pickles, starters, mains and pudding if you wish. We have been going for 20+ years and we are happy to keep going back time again.

Family meal last night, food was awful curries if that’s what they were , ranged from bland tomato soup to so your of a jar pickles were dried up vile in a word, pakora was rock hard my wife just couldn’t bite In to it or even cut it with a knife, puri was like greasy cardboard with no taste fish well god knows what it was, the staff just stare at you, the place just looked what it is not nice just like the food vile, the chick was like it had been frozen then put in a microwave to cook through, the lamb was slimy covered in a patak cooking sauce totally horrible, I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy, there are far superior curry restaurants in burton
Called to place an order and the member of staff was rude on the phone and only said what do you want as he answered the phone. After the order was placed he just said it’s cash only in my opinion i think that should have been said before placing the order. I got there a few minutes before they said it was going to be ready and I paid. Another customer came in behind and said can you make sure the foods hot this time please? After waiting 15 minutes after getting there the food was brought to me and i brought it home. I opened the food and most of it was cold and there was 2 Nan breads ordered one plain and another containing meat but they was put together so if the plain one was for a vegetarian it was next to meat so that would have had to be discarded.
Amazing as always! Have always made an effort to eat here whenever the opportunity presents itself as I'm from Birmingham. Kept high standards in both service and dining In over 20 years that I've been going for. Great family run business! Must try the Lamp Puree
